Oculus Medium Surface Detail Exercise

Here's the result of me exploring surface detail workflow in Oculus Medium

I was primarily using the inflate brush in both additive and subtractive as well as using the layer system to re-enforce form work in the bigger wrinkle lines. Having a beast of a machine is definitely a huge plus when it comes to this level of work as I don't think I could have done this in my old Razer laptop. Now that I have a workflow I'm fairly happy with (I still need to refine and build upon it), I can't wait to tackle something like a dinosaur or a dragon.

The first video is a grab from Marmoset Toolbag. It's a straight export from Medium at 100 percent detail preserved (9 plus million polygons). The second video was recorded inside Medium in VR.

Imported my raw Medium file into Marmoset to do a sanity check on bigger forms as well as surface detail.
